Toyota and Honda, plus some original equipment replacement
parts. ACDelco products can be found in more than 100 countries
located on six of the seven continents and are sourced globally
to meet the needs of the local markets, including “maintenance”
parts commonly replaced during the lifetime of a vehicle (e.g.,
batteries, oil filters, air filters, wiper blades, shocks and
brakes), as well as “repair” parts (e.g., alternators,
radiators, chassis and heating/cooling components). As of
February 2007, ACDelco offers more than 100,000 parts across 37
product lines.
ACDelco has nearly 100 years of experience in the automotive
industry and is a brand of GM Service and Parts Operations, a
division of General Motors. ACDelco employs a two- or
three-tiered distribution model, utilizing a network of
appointed wholesale distributors to service independent
installers, retail and fleet customers.
Training
ACDelco offers both Web-based and hands-on technical training
designed to help technicians and independent shops keep up with
ever-changing vehicle technology, including hydrogen fuel cells,
hybrid vehicles and emerging technologies. Not exclusively
focused on technical training, ACDelco offers classes that aim
to improve shop owners’ business and marketing skills, enabling
them to stay competitive in the dynamic automotive service
industry.
An aftermarket leader, ACDelco is committed to elevating the
status of professional automotive service technicians. As
vehicle complexity advances, there is an increasingly urgent
need for well-trained and certified automotive technicians.
ACDelco provides Independent Service Centres, like the ones who
service your vehicle, with quality parts and technical training
through their Total Service Support Program. Being an ACDelco
Total Service Support member means that the technicians working
on your vehicle today are committed to an ongoing training
program that keeps them up-to-date on how to best service your
vehicle. To find an Independent Service Centre in your area –
