New Technology: LED Headlamps

LED (light-emitting diode) headlamps can last up to 20 times longer than conventional halogen bulbs and require less energy, especially on hybrid vehicles.

They don’t require much space at the front of a vehicle, either, allowing designers to style sleeker, more aerodynamic cars. A few production vehicles currently offer
LED headlamps, including the Cadillac Escalade Platinum.

Look for more vehicles in the near future to incorporate this bright idea.
