What to Do If You Suspect a Part Is Fake Take it back to the place where you purchased it. Most legitimate
dealers/retailers consider their customer service and reputation to be the most
important parts of their businesses. And most will do whatever is necessary to
make good on the purchase.
If you suspect a part you purchased is fake, or if you know anything that could
lead to the conviction of counterfeiters, please contact the GM Global Brand
Protection Team and report your suspicions.
